FAQ

Is this a physical or digital zine?
It will be a physical zine with a digital option.

Is this a for profit or for charity zine?
This will be a for profit zine. All contributors will be given free copies of the zine, and a full bundle will be given to them once breakeven is made.

What does "Problematic Friendly" mean exactly?
It means ANY ship is allowed, "problematic" or not. This includes age-gap, teacher-student, villain/Shinsou, etc. ships. We are hoping for a relatively spread variety of ships in this zine. The only requirement is that Shinsou must be depicted as 18+ in all works.

"Harder" kinks will be in the same zine instead of separated into a digital add on. This decision was made with consideration of the interest check results. The zine will be tagged appropriately and warnings will be disclosed before preorders.

The only kinks we currently prohibit are scat, vomit, and excessive vore/gore.

Do the pieces have to be ship centric? Does Shinsou have to be top or bottom? Is he only allowed to be cis?
No, pieces can have Shinsou solo. Contributors have the freedom to depict Shinsou as they like, in any preference, gender, and sex. We would love to see all kinds of Shinsou!

How many contributors will you be taking?
In total, there will be 15 writers and 30 artists, including guests.

General Guidelines
❥ Must be 18+ years old.
❥ Discord will be required as the main method of communication.
❥ Contributors will be allowed to be participate as Anonymous or under an unlinked alias.
❥ Portfolios or sample works do not have to be Shinsou-centric, but it is highly recommended that at least one is.
❥ NSFW samples are highly recommended, but not required.
❥ Collabs will be allowed with other contributors.
❥ While the mods are all comfortable with most problematic content, trigger warnings will be required for application samples.
❥ Applying to multiple spots is accepted, however you will only be accepted for only one spot (writer, artist, OR merch)
❥ Please make sure we can access your work/portfolio.

Writers
❥ Please choose 3-4 samples that reflect your writing best.
❥ AO3 links will be accepted, but please link to specific works.
❥ Recommended sample word count is 1-4k. Completed works are highly recommended.

Artists
❥ Please choose 3-5 samples that reflect your art best.
❥ A Porfolio is highly recommended, but not required. An Art Twitter (specifically, an event/thread) will also be accepted as a "portfolio," as long it only has your art samples.
❥ At least one piece must be a fully completed work, with full color and background.

Merch
❥ Please choose 3-5 samples of merch designs you have made.
❥ For physical merch, pictures of the actual item is recommended, but not required.
